The church features a remarkable central portal made of local green stone (pietra verde). Its striking visual impact relies on a clean, essential composition defined by a multi-centered arch (arco mistilineo). The portal’s defining characteristic is a simple splay (strombatura) that creates a double-tiered recessed effect against the church walls.

At the base of the doorjambs, symmetrical curvilinear friezes soften the rigorous simplicity of the architectural framework.

Flanking the main entrance are two side doors, also crafted from green stone but entirely unadorned.

The elegant steps leading up to the church are made entirely of green stone as well.
